Functional Description

3500/33 is a 16-Channel Relay Module developed by Bently Nevada. It is a full-height module that can be installed in any of the slots to the right of the Rack Interface Module in a 3500 rack. The module is designed to work seamlessly with other 3500 modules, and can be used in conjunction with other relay modules or other types of modules, depending on the specific needs of the application.The 16-Channel Relay Module offers a range of advanced features and capabilities that allow users to customize and optimize their monitoring and control systems. Each of the 16 relay outputs on the module can be independently programmed to perform voting logic, allowing users to implement complex voting schemes that can help improve the reliability and accuracy of their monitoring and control systems.

The module includes “Alarm Drive Logic” for each relay, which allows users to program the logic that controls the activation of each relay. The Alarm Drive Logic can use AND and OR logic, as well as alarming inputs such as Alert and Danger statuses, Not-OK signals, or individual PPLs from any monitor channel or combination of channels in the rack. Users can use the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to program the Alarm Drive Logic and customize it to meet the specific needs of their application.
