Functional Description

3500/15 106M1079-01 is a Universal AC Power Supply manufactured and designed by Bently Nevada. It is a part of the 3500/15 System. They are half-height modules that must be installed in specific slots on the rack's left side. The rack can house one or two power supplies that can be AC or DC in any combination. A full rack can be powered by either supply. When two power supplies are installed in a rack, the one in the lower slot serves as the primary power supply, and the one in the upper slot serves as the backup power supply. If installed, the secondary power supply serves as a backup for the primary one.

The 3500/15 AC and DC Power Supplies accepts a wide range of input voltages and converts them to voltages acceptable for use by other 3500 modules. The following power supplies are available with the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System:

2. High Voltage DC Power Supply

3. Low Voltage DC Power Supply

Compatibility:

The Universal AC Power Supply and PIM (Power Input Module) are not compatible with the Legacy 3500 AC Power Supply, High Voltage AC PIM and Low Voltage AC PIM.

The High Voltage and Low Voltage DC Power Supplies and PIM(Power Input Module) are NOT compatible with the Legacy 3500 High Voltage and Low Voltage DC Power Supplies and PIMs.
